I do most investing outside the city in delaware county, but i would think there is an inspection they do yearly as a run though to check for smoke detectors and things of the like. ( at least that what they do in Delco ) when they are due, you'll know for sure

One example recently, I had an issue with a tenant breaking multiple house rules (smoking, party, extra guests, late check out) and causing damage and excessive clean up.

All that said, I think the Tim Ferriss podcast was a miss.I listened about halfway through and was trying to wrap my head around what he was saying about his "10 day retreat of silence", psychedelics, deep dark places, needing a Psych PhD to keep him on the rails, questioning his own sanity and all that.

The local attorney might also have connections with the city and they know by you using that person things will be handled appropriately versus ( joe blow ) who is flying in the dark and has no clue what is going on or how to fix it.Good luck.
