My husband and I just closed on our first rental property, and so far have a great prospective tenant. We are looking for a real estate lawyer around the Madison WI area, that will be able to help us create a lease. We are looking for someone who is investor and landlord savvy.

I recommend south central Wisconsin Apartment Association’s lease. It is a great trade organization that lobbies for landlords in our area. Also, the lease has Madison specific provisions which is important. The lease is written in conjunction with Attorney Jay Kortizinski, who is another great resource.
