Hi Andrew,First of all, you've got to go into these things with a winning attitude!

If we abide by these, life would be so much happier and positive attitude will just radiate.

Most borrowers, IMO, have the wrong attitude going into a bank, hat-in-hand as if they are begging for a loan.

But I have a once bitten, twice shy attitude because I graduated from undergrad in 2008 hoping to go into finance, and was forced to work selling shoes for 2 years due to the lack of jobs...I'm sure the economy has improved slightly but it scares the hell out of me...I never want to go back to that.And then there's the issue that going back into this field would essentially kill me on the inside...I don't want to work in an office ever again.

So, I have seen every aspect of the business and feel extremely thankful to have a family who has let me "learn the ropes" from bottom to top.What I most enjoy about property management is being able to change a property owners attitude about the business.

I will do the same when I am in position to do so, has to be the right person with the right attitude though!

Have a humble and servant attitude will get you far.

I did that and the owner's attitude was much different than what the PM said.

Those who take the attitude of just jump in a buy a note are simply naïve and hope and prey things work out as they fly by these issues.

I have the attitude that others are doing it so why can't I.
