The First is in Crestview FL with a long-term military tenant.

It is VERY heavily biased toward renters because of the military base, meaning picking up SFRs is easy and keeping a good one full should not be a problem.

I have a small health care benefit from my local government career, and I have VA health care since I'm ex-military but it's not as good as it used to be (too many people in the system, too few providers at the VA) so I am planning on buying a supplement on the marketplace when open enrollment comes in November.

@Amber Douglas  Usually for small loan amounts like that your best source will be small local banks or credit unions that know the property in question.  

I also have used it to successfully buy a car at auction, fix it & then obtain a 2.85% used car loan from a credit union.

I'd love to see a local bank or credit union beat a national lender.

Local credit unions usually have credit cards with 10-15% interest too if you need.
