We have a comfortable life here, and when/if we move back to the states, We'd like to maintain it.Hi Tim-Yes, they're building 2 casinos here, a Sands with convention center on the main island just south of the central business district on reclaimed land, and another spearheaded by local Genting Goup on smaller Sentosa Island (sort of a resort/park/ golf development island linked by bridge and monorail) which will include a theme park.Funny thing is, Singapore has resisted having casinos for decades, afraid of turning into another vice-ridden Macao.

And, Donald Trump has plenty of properties in locations that were already great before he bought or developed--he has a golf course in Palos Verdes; oceanfront condos in Baja; a casino on the Vegas strip; a hotel on 5th Avenue, condos with Lake Michigan views in downtown Chicago, etc.

When you consider that this man's advice came from having survived the double digit inflation of the 1970s (during which he lost a large commercial property on an adjustable rate commercial mortgage - but didn't quit), the recession and S&L fallout of the 1980s and the most recent meltdown and ever smaller boom and bust in between - this advice is not to be taken lightly. 80 years of work and an excellent legacy he has left.
