I also rotated free gym memberships so I could shower when both bathrooms were ripped apart, and I often carried my toothbrush with me to Home Depot so I could brush in their bathroom..haha!

No matter the economy people don't stop brushing their teeth, eating or cutting off their prescribed meds; similarly, they never stop needing some place to live (though they may substitute lower cost alternatives, so higher end rentals may be more at risk).

Don't paint with a broad brush as others seem to do and assume that all wholesalers fall into this category, just as all realtors and others don't fall into this category based on a few bad experiences.It sounds like the wholesaler didn't really have it under contract but was maybe just trying to feel out the lead before they did, which is terrible and not how good wholesalers do things.
