In many cases, marred couples will both need to be on the mortgage anyway, making this a moot point.

I have a couple of properties north of Asheville in Mars Hill.

I'm based in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada, and our multi-family market is insane.

In hindsight, Mar'20 SFR median hit all-time high of $319k, but most thought it would go down afterwards.

I invest in some areas outside of NOVA that meet the 1.5%  (sometimes more), but they involved more risk, tenants that require more work and that don't take as much care of the properties, and distressed properties that need to be renovated after purchase.
