It took me a good 10-15 calls before I started becoming proficient at knowing what the caller wanted and how to gain their trust.The lingo on the card only gets them to call, not sell their house.

@Paul Felix not sure what your RE goals are but if its just to make monthly money by wholesaling I submit to you if you spend the same amount as a RE broker and went for listings and got proficient at it you would make more money... you would stand to create a career you could do for years etc etc.. more than one way to make money at RE.

Don't forget work supervisor and manager, including contact phone numbers.Probably the best conversation one could have concerning what to ask for, might be had with a skip-tracer, or someone you know who may be proficient in a credit/collections capacity.Rentals are great (most of the time), but they sure suck the life out of you when things go south.Best of luck!

Thank you Joshua, Yes that link is helpfulI am in Rich Dad's RE Coaching, and this week we have to commit to researching and running a print ad, which is something that I've shied in the past because I was too cheap to want to spend the money for solid marketing...Well after becoming quite proficient in prospecting (cold calling), I see the little money they are asking for as a solid way to leverage my time more effectively even if it only pays for itself.I've been reading now where alot of investors have abandoned print media for marketing, which in my eyes makes it a golden opportunity to attempt to build a part of my marketing around it...
