He's a lot of things, but he's not the CEO of a lending company (at least not one that will ever fund your loan).There are actually MANY things you can do to vet a company, and this list is by no means exhaustive. 

Several hours, and the limits of my Google-Fu exhausted, the last known addresses and phone numbers for the  kids all lead back in a circle to the empty property in question.

Always running bathroom exhaust fan during showers, do not use humidifiers, use air conditioning when it is humid outside, report any water leaks to landlord immediately, report any mold immediately.Holding them liable for mold damage without regard for what caused it is pretty hard to enforce.

The question of how many rental houses one can acquire before exhausting their bank borrowing capacity has yet to be answered.Malaysia is a middle income country growing at about 6 to 7% per year.

It is not an exhaustive search, but should bring up any recent liens.  

Once you exhaust your sphere of one to two sales you will need to grow your business and that takes a full time commitment to it.
