The downsides are numerous:one unit dies, the whole assembly must be replaced;the washer and dryer capacity are less than a stackable laundry pair;they are not as water nor energy efficient as a comparably priced stackable laundry pair;they are a pain to install in 2nd and 3rd floor flats (unless you have modern wide stairwells or an elevator).We have two of the all-in-one GE units left.

Account Closed The short answer, nowhere: at least not anywhere where you will likely wish to invest.The only places, of which I am aware, where you may find properties priced to meet the guideline that rent is 2% of purchase price are smaller, declining, coastal communities in the Maritimes or evaporating small, former train stop / grain elevator, towns across the prairies.

It's a difficult space for a restaurant (upstairs, no elevator), the restaurant just stopped serving lunch and now does dinner only, and while many of the restaurants in the area are packed every night this is not one of them.

Eventually, I'd like to have enough rental properties where I would be able to then focus on fix and flips to further elevate the business, while still purchasing a few rentals to keep padding my cash flow.
