Calling all Dayton, OH area investors, is anyone willing to share a referral for a great CPA with experience navigating buy and hold and flip investments?

This is important because you want your name to appear on any claims checks.The following are some general terms that you can use with your Agent, Attorney and CPA to determine the proper form for the coverage. 

Talk to your CPA before making a decision.

It sounds crazy but I did this for every exam including practice exams I've had to take for both the CPA & realtor licenses and it made a big difference for me.

@Joel OhYour cpa is probably saying this based on your first sentenceI have good w2 income.

Honestly, I'd talk to a good CPA or estate planner about starting to sell off some of the properties while trying to reduce their capital gains taxes. 

Heck, my CPA and I regularly discuss and are forced to make our own assumptions on how the IRS may interpret something in our real estate taxes, if we were to get audited.

Find excellent property management, mortgage broker, attorneys, contractors, CPA's, etc.

:)So I am looking for any advice and/or connection to a CPA/Tax Planning Consultant who is familiar with this space.

I'd talk with a lot of different people including other investors, your CPA, your estate-planning attorney, and others.
