In another lifetime, in a Star Trek world, perhaps my old childhood dream of being an engineering extraordinaire would be tenable.

Childhood - cut lawns, shoveled snow, baby-sat, cleaned and painted my mom's apt. houses, had a bait stand at the lake (to make gas money for the boat and water-skiing), lied about my age at 15 to get a cashier job for 30hrs/week in high school, had a full-time summer job and worked another 30 hrs all through college.

And with an ounce of excess, share the wealth and education with anyone who has a seemingly "bad" life and/or childhood.

There is no reason I have to wait for my diploma to begin my career as a real estate investor.So that you understand my intentions with RE, here are some personal reasons for my particular passion in this business:- It is an art form in my eyes- I had multiple stretches of homelessness in my childhood- I want to build relationships that will benefit future endeavors- I want to create multiple streams of income and bring diversity to my portfolio- Gain capital for other business investmentsThis post is written in effort to find a coaches/mentors/partners in this business.

My husband and I live in Texas (just north of Houston) and rent my childhood home in Arkansas which I inherited.  

@Jeri OMahoney The fires came really close to my childhood home, but didn't affect us much now that we're living downtown.

If a child is the executor of the estate and responsible for selling their childhood memories or parents work into the house may affect their sense of the value if they feel a high level of attachment to the house. 

JohnI am not going to give my probate marketing secrets at his point yet because even though I quit investing for awhile now to devote my time to taking care of my bride of almost 54 years, I may resume and don't want to train new competitors.
