I take all complaints very seriously and had my plumber clear all the drains from the main line (>$200), and they then complained about noises, smells, etc....

Besides potential liability & insurance issue, dogs, especially big ones, can do lot of damage to the house (if dog pee inside the house, you would have to replaced the flooring to get rid of the smell)

Him and other tenants were upset that we had to empty the building in order to bring in a higher caliber tenant class so his way of getting even was defecating on the building.We almost doubled the rents on the property so they might have won the battle but I would argue they lost the war.
