Believe me I smell money.

I plan to stop and smell the roses a bit more along the way with RE, I don't want to build myself into another 50+ hr/week job.  

But making the plan is only half the battle.

I take all complaints very seriously and had my plumber clear all the drains from the main line (>$200), and they then complained about noises, smells, etc.... 

That is what I was thinking @Brandon Battle.

Besides potential liability & insurance issue, dogs, especially big ones, can do lot of damage to the house (if dog pee inside the house, you would have to replaced the flooring to get rid of the smell)

The last time I was at house it looked and smelled fine.

Him and other tenants were upset that we had to empty the building in order to bring in a higher caliber tenant class so his way of getting even was defecating on the building.We almost doubled the rents on the property so they might have won the battle but I would argue they lost the war.  

Ensure that your homes are clean, have fresh paint jobs, no funny smells, and have electricity/heat.

You can find some on the MLS, but it is usually a battle for the good ones.
