I suppose you could try to make it some sort of tourist destination.

Already there are loads of tourist buses pouring in to visit the many murals, "authentic" Mexican cuisine, etc.  

I feel like a tourist based economy would have a strong need for rental units and therefore stable tenant volume, but could deb very wrong.  

Tourist are great for business.

In order to pay off my renovations, I decided to rent my place on Airbnb to tourists while staying at my girl friends place.

There are pathways to get you from point A to every point Z ... so bring your own golf cart to be "a native" ... otherwise, you will be driving your car like "a tourist"!

I have a option one that I never really thought about until now, my family (meaning my mother father and i ) own an apartment in morocco and for 10 months out of the year it does nothing but sit there. now the apartment isn't In the tourist section but near the train that takes you to all those areas. 

Note: we rented similar room on same property, studio only for $2700 for 1 weekAmazing Location in Prime Vacation/Tourist area.Would love input!

I work at a tourist attraction and environmental organization in FL which happens to be located right smack dab in the middle of a residential area of the city.

Any advice for investing in beach condos in a high tourist area?
