In the end, she was legally informed by the responding officers that she was trespassing, further informed that she was banned from the property as per the owners themselves, and was told to either leave or be cited and arrested.

Interesting observation, Steve.I spoke with the agent (he's a good one) and he told me that this kind of building would have lead paint, but it is covered by several coats of paint as it was banned in the 70s.

An American Civil Liberties Union spokesman has called the new security procedures a choice between a “virtual strip search†and a “grope.â€â€œTravelers are being asked to choose between being scanned ‘naked’ and exposed to radiation, or getting what people are describing as just a highly invasive search by hands of their entire bodies.†Chris Ott, a spokesman for the ACLU of Massachusetts, said.People traveling out of the UK and other areas of Europe don’t even get the choice – they are forced to go through the scanner if asked and cannot refuse or they are banned from traveling.

Many people try to circumvent handymen limitations (ie, in CA it is $500/project max including both materials and labor, some say 600 not 500) for construction/repair work by treating the handyman as an hourly employee, but it backfires because CA bans just that.Not familiar with WA laws so I digress, but where there's a will there's a way.Note the fundamental difference between employee and independent contractor is if the worker is regularly supervised while at work hour to hour.
