Have been religiously listening to the BP Podcasts to and from work everyday (thanks @Brandon Turner and @Joshua Dorkin), and "lurking" on the forums for the past 12 months - today marks the day that I officially join the BP forums :) A little about myself - born and raised in LA/OC, hoping to achieve financial independence through passive income generated with buy and hold rental real estate.

not sure if this is a success story yet , hahaha . this is another hoarder house i purchased , the estate said it had 30,000 books in it , but after donating almost 14,000 we have not made a dent . i did get a nice donation write off though . found an 1653 religious book , maybe 15-20 old bibles from 1800's , about 200 Luis La'mour , and too many ufo books to count ( literally 8,000 or more ) also had to throw out 4,000 vhs tapes , nobody wanted them .

They had a go fund me page raising money for their legal fees and there was also a strong religious affiliation with their group.

Many times it is used in a religious context and one could argue that real estate is a religion and the gurus are the many varied ministers asking for contributions to their "ministries" lol.
