I am a working mother/wife and I am just getting started in the real estate market. I am looking to do this part time but hopefully be successful enough to do this solely and be able to spend more time at home with my family. My husband and I are very interested in fixing and flipping houses. My main goal is to gain a couple of rental properties to establish a long term cash flow within 5 years, while my husband is more interested in the fix and flip portion. I will admit that I am skeptical and rather stubborn. I really would like to actually speak to someone with experience as I learn better that way. I know there are many hype seminars out there who makes it seem like everything is so easy, but when asked the hard questions, they hesitate to answer. I am really hoping to be able to pick the brains of many successful flippers on this site and hope to connect with some who are willing to take chances on newbies like myself. I am seeking advice on basically everything; advice on how/where to start, how can I get started with no money, etc. I am looking in to getting my real estate license as well, hoping that it will be beneficial to me in the buying/selling department. I am really excited about this, yet scared. I look forward to learning a lot and hope to be on the level as the successful flippers here.
