I'm a veteran and looking to use my VA loan to purchase a 4 plex.  

What looks like a flip to you on zillow, could be a well-photographed shack in a D- neighborhood that will sell in 200 days after you've invested your hard earned, hard money $10,000 (plus purchase price) to bring the property value up to a whopping $46,000.

This means professional pictures (find a real estate photographer, ask an agent; about $100 well spent!)

It's always nice to see new members as well as seasoned veterans who are located in our Southcoast region.

I also agree it depends on the type of property, however if I am understanding the seasoned RE veterans, the better the shape the property, the more likely the tenant is to care for it.

If he is truly a veteran, then he is an utter embarrassment to the service.

A tenant who wishes to terminate a rental agreement on these grounds should document carefully both the condition of the dwelling (with photographs or video and witnesses) and the tenant’s attempts to notify the landlord of the problem.
