For a short period of time he received social security. most of it came in one lump payment and it equaled about one third of the amount that he needed to purchase a small fixer upper with the money he had saved since 8 or 9 paying for the rest.it has always been a worry as far as how my son will do after we are dead.

I joined this group to try to do so, and get a plan together before jumping in.My short-term goals are to buy a rental property, get some experience under my belt, and then repeat that process until I can replace my wife's income (at which point she can quit, and possibly act as property manager full-time), and help pay for the kids' college.I hope to learn a lot from the users here, and look forward to an exciting new phase of life!
