but we all know how that panned out.Personally, I don't have Warren Buffet-like piles of cash that I can risk on speculative investments, so my strategy is to go for property that will cashflow enough to protect me from unanticipated problems, but in markets I think have decent appreciation potential...but none of my plans require appreciation to pencil out (doing that would be speculation).Good luck out there!

As well, dish storage in an island is not practical whereas pots and pans would easily work across from the stove, even better perhaps hanging from a pot holder above the island.
