Everyone wants to do direct bookings and save money on platform fees, but if you cannot survive using the proven search engines, I just do not see a property being successful overall.

So look into that before you jump in.Also, I would encourage you to open an LLC and buy the property in the name of the LLC and open up a dedicated bank account for just that LLC.  

Do you use other platforms besides MLS to research median sale prices, price per sqft, number of sales, population, and comparisons to previous years?

Use a very similar profile picture over the different platforms of BP, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.

Hi Evan,I'm new to vacation home property managing and was looking at Host Tools with my main goals being to simply avoid double booking and manage my communication with guests from different platforms.. 

It looks like a "ring base station" is required to make these work, not sure if there is a work around, and also wondering if you'd need your own dedicated wifi in the house to connect all this too Owning a few properties myself and as a property manager for other investors I am imagining now the calls I would be getting when this system isn't working properly, batteries die, motorized lock stops working etc, so living in new england with the elements and temperatures we experience I would not recommend this to the owners of the properties I manage I have an up down style 2 family with a common entry door that sounds very similar to your setup.

I was worried about it being too big a project, but I realize now that if the numbers make sense and if you are really dedicated you can figure it out.Your first property your going to make mistakes, that's how you'll learn. 

There are several Mortgage Lenders in here that might be able to assist you check the network section on this platform to find a Mortgage Lender, i hope this helps.
