This house appeared to need new siding and flooring/paint, and updated bathroom. 

I have no problem looking into homes with some cosmetic issues (paint, carpet, etc.), as I'd have over a year to fix these problems on my own time.  

Next was drywall and mud followed by painting ...

The duct tape and spray paint cost $15 and I haven't spent a cent on marketing but Ive already gotten two good leads.If the image proves to be more lucrative than the clean cut, professional image I went for last summer I will expand the market...

At my local one there seems to be no shortage of solid oak vanities,  that look great painted black with a granite top.

Picasso just didn't decide to dabble in painting as a stepping stone to some other artform. 

I learned skills from painting to installing tiles, doors and frames to save as much as I could from having to paying my contractor.

Given the arrangement $1-1.50 seems fair to me.On a side note, 26 hours to lay 600 sq ft of laminate is crazy unless this included all the demo, new baseboards / shoe molding, painting of said molding etc...

Paint it with a floor paint and then home depot sells a flake that you throw up and let land in the paint while the paint is still wet to give it some design and dimension.

I know unquestioningly that I could very easily began marketing my services as a professional painter and, despite the fact that there are tonnes of painting contractors in my area I can ply my trade and build wealth.
