My wife works in the area during the week and I was going to have her try to attend a few but I'm guessing she will pass if its a social event like you speak of.

These agents I make note of, and when I see one of their open house signs in my neighborhood, I will stop by to chat with them.I don't work where I live, but we do employ direct mailers and out of all our marketing (print advertisement, social media, etc...) they by far provide the greatest return on investment.

If you have a name you can search social media for relatives and perhaps the owner as well.

Defiantly, we gotta just keep educating ourself and socialize....

This meant that all income I made (up to the social security/medicare cutoff) was considered salary and  taxed at 15.3% for Soc Sec/Med (plus normal income tax).

hey folks; 1st-time poster here.i began an interest in RE investing about 3 mos ago. in that time, i've watched countless vids, read countless articles & how-to's, been to a few local meetups (REIA & the sort), started to study this amazing site, etc. i'm particularly interested in beginning my ventures in "wholesaling". it seems to be the best fit for my situation currently.one issue i face: i'm pretty-much brand new to social media. i started accts on several SM platforms and spend a good deal of my time trying to learn each particular medium - i know almost nothing about (insta, twit, LI, etc). i've been told repeatedly they're good to have for marketing.another issue: much of the investing information i have gathered thus far comes from people outside of my state (those pesky courts, right?)

I discovered that we had mutual friend (through social media) and contacted a close friend to see if he knew this person well.
