You can also screen applicants (debt-to-income ratios, income verification, background checks, etc.) through tenant-screening services such as TenantVerification.com, ScreentheTenant.com, e-renter.com. 

I've also read Brandon's book "investing in real estate with no or low money down" and his investing for beginners books a couple times.

It looks to be a little difficult to book trips though.

As far as the FSBO I subscribe to a service called beenverified . com to find current address, emails and phone numbers of people

I did a search on R.E. books and came across BP.com a week ago.I have been engrossed in the site ever since.I'm really glad I did.

My wife and I use these properties for our personal businesses.I'm not a licensed contractor but I do have my Residential and International Code books.

Brandon's got a book on Investing with no or low money down, you will see there creative ways to fund your investments if you are low on funds.

I heard this is a good book to learn step by step  O ya I heard it was free!
