I bleached the walls and put an air purifier running 24/7.

We have purchased 18 houses over the years, all of them near Air Force bases where we were stationed, and I'm a partner in 10 more that are located in a small Texas town with an AF base.

I installed a gas forced air furnace at almost $8K by time I added vents but gas bill is less than $200 per month and electric bill is usually under $100. 

air circulator that basically scrubs the air clean.

Air samples, soil samples...cant go on making speculations without data. 

There's just a few airplanes in WI with the air show aren't there?

Still cheaper than hiring a contractor to do the stuff I was going to do.My first day here I get internet installed (can't live without that, lol) and the Charter guy strikes up a conversation since I just have an air mattress on the living room floor.

So not touching the ground and there will be air flow in the base ( I assume).Please advise!  

But broader more macro issues are more important than cheap houses and developer profits, like having enough farmland to feed people, clean air, not commuting 40 miles to work, and not needlessly wasting finite energy resources, among others. 

So that idea is still in the air.
