Hello, 1st post on BP

Hello from Hawaii.

Heard about BP about 6 months ago, but just recently started listening to the podcasts. Currently, im married and with 2 young children, I work full-time, and attend college full-time, Im here on BP to learn about real estate investing. Although Ive bought my home through VA, juggling the mortgage, credit cards and other expenses, I want to pay down my debts so I would be able to get a HELOC to expand and buy other homes. There's alot of information to learn from this website's resources, but its information that will help me attain my goals.

Hello! I am new here as well. I am located in Los Angeles. I am looking to do what you are, but am waiting to have a larger down payment before I use my VA loan (create more equity from the start). I am looking currently for a mentor, investors, and to build an A-Team of people I trust in hopes of not having to use my own money or put up my home for collateral. We should connect and maybe talk strategy. Do you have a mentor and if so what do you think? My number one goal is to find a mentor and investors at this point so I can put one deal in the books and start learning. Hope all is well with you!
