Hello,

I am in contract to buy a property ( investment- buy/hold) in north east of DFW, upwards from Plano, TX.

It is a home built in late 1950s   3 bed / 2 bath.  I am ordering an inspection and I was asked by inspectors if they should do Thermal Imaging. I am going to research on what is Thermal imaging, but from experts in north of DFW region : Is it usual to get Thermal Imaging done, during inspection?

My guess is that TX being a Warm region, it may not require. Also the property is on Pier/Beam and not on slab base.  So not touching the ground and there will be air flow in the base ( I assume).

Please advise!

Appreciate your help.
