Hi don't be afraid of foundation issues.I invested, bought a 1920 home in san antonio, that needed lifting by a foot on 1 side & many piers & beams. foundation costed $5k, beams costed another $4k.the foundation cost & most everything was part of estimate however the new beams needing replacement for 3 bedrooms, & new wall from bathroom to kitchen, & new siding for new wall, & french drain. originally the estimate was $40000. it went to $48,500 but I only paid $45k.
