At a later date more than likely in 2024 or early 2025 you can refinance when rates drop back to normal.I would also shop around for a competitve rate and not just use your current lender who may not have the best rate/term in addition to lowest costs APR.

I see way way to many realtors go for flashy real estate companies that make no money or minimal money...or try to shop and shop around for the cheapest brokerage model that also probably doesn't make money or minimal money.

So instead find 5 people you want to be more like and start to go out for coffee with them and pick their brain.I would also say obviously don't take advice from someone who hasn't done it before, because I find everyone always seems to have advice on something that they have never done but the funny thing is it always happens to turn out negative.Instead listen to the people who have done it and done it successfully and pick their brain and find out the model they used to be successful and if you do that with every successful person you come across then eventually you form your own model for success!

Fast forward to today, we are shopping around for a larger home but wish to keep the above condo for ~25+ years as (i) I'm bullish on the neighborhood (as well as location within the neighborhood), (ii) the unit has a couple very unique characteristics which cannot be replicated, and (iii) I want to generally dip my toes into the investment property game and feel this is best opportunity to do so.
