Could be lead paint, asbestos, polybutylene pipes, aluminum wiring, federal pacific panels, galvinized steel pipes, lead pipes.The fact is the vast majority of houses with any of these flaws are perfectly fine, and only a small minority of them will cause issues for their owners.Ask 10 different knowledgeable people about how bad any of these issues are and youll get 10 different answers.

I would only recommend it in certain circumstances such as when a material fact is uncovered during inspection that wasn't disclosed or factored into the price (it should be a good reason that perhaps neither party knew about).

There is an additional uncovered parking space adjacent to the house which was intended to be reserved for repair persons, contractors, but they always street park.

@Ralph Ace  When I was practicing in Mass and Maine, the guidance was that the report was the property of the person who paid for it - normally the buyer.Other parties could ask for it, but it would be standard practice to ask them to pay for it.That said, the seller would be required to disclose any defects that were uncovered in the inspection.
