My number one fear being that the LAND is not being purchased and I would have to dig deep to find out about whether the park owner could remove all units and develop or sell the land separately (that is the best buy and hold deal in the world!).

Don’t fault him too hard because by and Large His response is very typical of most people who share his ideology of getting paid as an employee .his thoughts on investing in real estate are solely based in fear because he is not educated on the subject and Fear comes from the unknown .

When we actually look at the prices of Real Estate, that's not what we actually have seen.While I don't think one should take their personal experiences into account for fear of extrapolating a biased opinion, I see this scenario done ALL the time here on BP, especially when I see postings involving places like NYC where people are saying I wouldn't invest here because my personal experience shows that it is un-affordable.YES... that is true... it is un-affordable.... when you do it ALONE, by yourself.
