My question is for AirBNB owners: have you seen an effect on bookings (or upcoming bookings) due to the current virus scare?

Now with the virus people want the fed to go to Effectively Zero In Rates, (boy the banks will love that!!!)

One major problem with this proposed law is that if your tenants are paycheck-to-paycheck and they miss a paycheck due to the virus and therefore don't pay rent, they will never be able to catch up on the rent.

@Brian Nel I wish there was a crystal ball, though I think real estate agents will always say it’s a good time to buy/sell irrespective of the macro/micro situation.As per some articles that I read, impact could be like 2009-10 for Houston if the trend on virus infection and oil price continues in the same direction.

I just had my first cancellation due to virus concerns.

I do think the recent virus scare will potentially cause some owners considering selling to be more motivated if they think they can get close to their price.

Market fundamentals are out the window causing fear to spread faster than the virus itself.
