As a new investor (newbie), I was thinking this would be a great place to start based on my expectation of low start-up costs, and by personal experience, I also understand the value of the section 8 program.

You could all be equal owners in an LLC and contribute start up cash with specific rules on payback timelines and then distributions.

One of my friends has his securities 7 license and does lots of raises for DST's and other various sources of capital needs  (inventions, business start ups, etc.)
