I am training our son to basically do the rehabs but there is a learning curve.  

You could go to work for a remodeler too perhaps giving bids, selling service or see if they will train you to be on a crew.You could also go to work as an ISA for one of the big wholesalers. 

However, the right Broker is very important when first starting because they can train the agent how to run their business and find success.

Spend your time and money learning how to avoid that kind of situation rather than learning from on the job training.

Here’s my honest advise; consider studying for and obtaining your real estate sales license, and obtain a part time position with a real estate agency that will provide training, guidance, and oversight.  

I actually tried to beg the city to let us sell it to the fire dept to burn it down for "training". 

As a fellow West Aussie who's now living in the US, I can tell you this forum and most of the training/courses you'll see online regarding multifamily investment isn't relevant/applicable in Australia.

I'd done some reading in the past and thought a few of the main Canadian banks had such specialty trust divisions that could help you with plan setup.As for finding investments, networking with other investors, real estate agents, etc. is the way to go.Brian, from what I've heard is that CAN banks  make it extremely difficult to setup. 

Free your day up for training in RE and getting real reps with sellers from the leads you're getting and really hone your craft.
