Because of that success, and the tourism of Santa Fe, I'm assuming a STR will likely out preform a LTR with modern amenities, design, etc in place.  

We’ve found a great option for us in Tennessee with a cabin (currently used as a str) and a mobile home.

It included 25 mobile homes, 60 self-storage units, and four commercial tenants.

The last time I represented a mobile home park purchaser, county health department allowed four MHs per septic tank. 

I can only assume they were an LP in a storage unit syndication :) Now they are raising money for a mobile park and using Instagram to reach an audience.
