You can also test for formaldehyde, Volatile Organic Compounds (VoCs), arsenic in the water, DFAS, gas stove fumes, microplastics, fecal contamination, and so on and so on.It is worth summarizing it this way.  

Install 100% water proof flooring where you can, and countertops that match the neighborhood (your rental competition).

A few things to consider:Utilities: Do you know if seperate gas/electric meters exist and who pays for the water?

Was it painful when water heaters had to be replaced or tenants skipped in the middle of the night? 

Are they separate meters from the main home and does it have its own water / sewer lines?

The setup for a bullish Spring real estate season is palpable.Let’s get into it.Project Update: North Nashville Duplex Construction has begun on a cozy duplex I picked up in North Nashville a couple months ago, a lovely little transitioning neighborhood just an 8-min Uber to downtown (yes “cozy” is real estate parlance for small, but it will be cozy!).

All the water issues could have caused this as well.

There were many challenges that came about after the inspection; from outlets that were not up to code, possible water leaks above the shower head in the ceiling, water pipes from bathroom vanity was the same as kitchen sink with no shutoffs, etc.

Water- Either check with neighbors, drill test well, or call me to Witch water to see if you have water on the ground.
