We had also done a large cobbler (from that same place) but this year , became more challenging because we spread across geographic regions so we called up Sams and Costco and just got pumpkin pies to hand out to all properties.  

I know farms in my are pump a fertilizer mixture in spring that fills the whole valley with the death smell of animal feces just to make better pumpkins or corn. 

He makes a living selling walnuts, almonds, pumpkin seeds and dry chickpeas).

Maybe fence it off and make a garden.Feed you family free fresh fruit and vegetables (organic), sell the remainder on the roadside (pumpkins in October, melons and corn in the summer, peas, green beans, radishes, green onions, carrots, etc...).Sell from a trailer.Use the money for a family vacation.Teach the kids about business, pre-planing (planting hoe-ing gathering), and profits.Just my 2 cents.

The uglier the house  the better, show me pumpkin orange walls, teal cabinets, and carpet that I'm not always 100% sure what color it was supposed to be and we probably can make a deal.
