I have started to see that "Generational Wealth" is the source of instability for a lot of immigrant families as well, it's very different even when a legal immigrant has no "generational wealth" compared to a family that's illegal but has vast generational wealth (doesn't matter where the wealth is located because wealth is very transferable these days).Also what you mentioned above is true and it's why sometimes upward mobility class can't happen....

It's like church (use to be a minister) I use to call it copy paste syndrome, people listen and spit out their excitement of what they listen to.

They gave me their sob story about not being able to buy traditionally due to immigration status, they told me how hard they work and how excited they were to finally be able to own their home after 12 years of renting.

A significant number of immigrants choosing this area to settle have done quite bit to help turn the area around since the market crash.

Is that because new home builds and laxed ADU laws can't keep up with 10s of millions of unchecked immigrants?

Maybe a minister might want to keep an eye on things. 

Lots of immigrants moving to Winnipeg that make for great tenants and see the rent as affordable, especially if they are moving from Toronto.

Immigration law is complex (like any kind of law is simple) so you want to make sure you follow the rules.
