You are feeding this hungry beast every month and you are seeing nothing in immediate return, and only a return on equity somewhere on paper or down the line when you sell the property.  

That's simply the nature of the beast. 

Now, while I did mention I was new and have a beast of a deal for someone like myself; who knows, there may be someone willing to just allow me to tag along.

In general there is a thread of this at all times in economic theory and history, but where we are now is a whole different beast.

We still get the odd theft from time to time but it's easy keeping a finger on the pulse when we only do 3-4 rehabs per month or so.Just had one recently but couldn't tell you when it happened prior to that.It's just the nature of the beast and could happen anywhere.At least we don't get car windows smashed by junkies and bags stolen from cars in broad daylight like in San Fran haha
