Greetings all!

Renovations almost complete on my first rental property.

2 quick questions..

1.) My bathroom has been remodeled, just waiting on my cabinets for my kitchen to come in within the next week or two and my unit will be ready to go. Does anyone recommend marketing your unit before the full renovation is complete?

2.) What are the best methods /procedures for screening tenants ?

I’m moving out of state in March , so want to make sure my unit is rented before we leave.

Thanks In advance!

Greetings all!

I’m almost finished renovating my first rental property.

Does anyone have any suggestions on screening tenants? This is for a long term rental venture in NJ.

Im sure this question has been asked a million times, but wasn’t sure if there were any resources I can resort to for a seamless screening process?

Greetings guys!

My wife and I are newly married and looking to relocate out of NJ.

What are the best resources out there for determining comparable rental prices in my area other than reaching out to an agent.

We want to rent out our condo and trying to configure a fair competitive price.

Thanks for any and all help anyone can provide :)z

@Derrick Dill really like this idea, as opposed to a full renovation.

@Stephen Brown yes time is always of the essence , business has been good, but if I were to do work my self I would be limited to late evenings and weekends, tough to do by myself if I had to

@Miho Y. Thanks for your response! She’ll be okay for the next few months, but realistically would need to be out by September i would say.

@Tiffany Herrold hey Tiffany, she does not need the funds immediately , but she will be on her own moving forward , where she used to have a spouse living with her. She receives retirement income, but needs as much of as a cash cushion as possible moving forward. I plan to downsize her living space to a 1 bedroom rental that would be more affordable for her.
