I appreciate that, Ill check it out. My county transfered me twice after about 40 minutes on hold. The last person I talked to told me that they dont get the info until after the forclosure happens.

Good evening ladies and gentlemen, 

I come to you today seeking advice, tips, and 2 cents. Thanks to my wonderful property manager and her amazing networking skills, I have an informal meeting with a seasoned investor next week. This gentleman has been in the CRE arena for a good part of his professional investing career and has clearly made it. For those who have been in my situation, you may understand when I say I'm slightly intimidated. I want to make a good impression and at the same time absorb any wisdom that comes my way. What would you be doing between now and then to be sure that you're well prepared to get and give the most in this situation?

@Steve Vaughan sorry about the confusion. What I should have typed was that I'm looking at multifamily 4 and under right now because of that advice to start residential. Now that I know that it isnt a requirement, I'll re-educate, reorient, and readjust. There are a lot of apartment owners in the only market I've researched in NC and a lot of them.are absentee. I did send out direct mail but I know I need to get better at that and other lead generation techniques. My focus had been on small residential multifamily so I do need to step back and study what it is that I want. I appreciate your feedback.
