Do I really have to?

Good morning everyone! I am pointing my compass at commercial multifamily investment. When I tell people in my network, I get the advice to start in SFHs and build equity to pull out and put into CRE later. My question is: Do I have to? Is there a way to get into CRE without staring in residential? Right now I'm looking at residential multifamily 4 and under. Thank you all.

@Zack McCall NOPE...your success is 100% driven by your plan, action, motivation, desire, and commitment.

I went from buying a duplex to closing 500 unit deals. The journey has been hard, but well worth it. I hope you find a helpful tip in this link: I quit my CPA Job to buy Large Apartment Buildings

It is my personal belief that if you want a make a change in your life you have the power to make a choice to change.
