Hello BP KC! My name is Zach White and I currently live in Lawrence, Ks. I will be moving to KCMO in August 2021 to take a job at H&R Block in downtown KCMO in the IT department. I am looking to get into my first rental property using the BRRRR method. I read the Book on Real Estate Investing and I am currently reading books, articles, watching BP videos, listening to podcasts and doing my best to learn as much as I can but I am feeling jitters to take the first step in actually buying a property and beginning the process. I would love to find a mentor in the KC area who would be willing to show me the ropes a bit. I am willing to pay you or work out some deal that could benefit us both but I know the value of an experienced mentor and I simply want to learn. I currently live in Lawrence, I work in Topeka, I frequent the KC area and have family and connections in the Wichita area. I am considering doing long distance investing in Wichita to begin because my familiarity with the area as well as connections but I dont know what you all have to say about investing long distance (2.5 hour drive).
