Post: What Real Estate Jobs allowed you to quit your 9 - 5

Hello all,

I'm currently a tad bit over 100k working as a software developer.

I can't really see myself doing this for a long time so I just wanted to reach out and ask about the best way to go about using real estate and investments to eventually transition out of software development.
Ideally, I'd love to have a real estate investing company in which I can acquire properties and focus solely on investing and flipping, but I'm not too sure how feasible and maintainable this would be (I could just be ignorant to the profits, I will admit) ?

Are there investors here who have quit there full time jobs and used real estate investing as their primary income?

Wholesaling and being a real estate agent are probably two of the jobs I'd stear clear of.

However, Lending, flipping, rehabbing, and a few other professions are things I could see myself being excited and fufilled about.

I would love to get everyone's take on this aswell as understand hear everyone else's experience going into real estate full time!

In about 6 months to a year, I plan on buying my first rental here in Framingham. Would be nice to keep in touch.

Just thought I'd send out a post to see how many beginner-friendly investors would be willing to look into a partnership. I'd be networking out to wholesalers, absentee owners, and many would-be deals in order to bring anything I found to the table. I was looking to partner up for my first deal or two in order to gain expertise aswell as have an experienced investor bring funding to the table.

Please feel free to reach out and at least inquire!

In order to have extra cash to help me pay off my student loans, I just wanted to explore the idea of using a hard money loan in order to finance my first deal and then later refinance it into a conventional loan.

If any investors or lenders have any expertise in this area (especially in the Florida market) I'd love to get in contact to at least inquire more about opportunities.

Hello everyone!

I graduated recently and got a job as a work from home software engineer. I'll be moving down to the central Florida to take advantage of the no state income tax so I can pay off my student loans a little faster. I wanted to network and connect with Real estate agents, investors, hard money lenders, and many others so that once I'm ready to start landing deals, I'll already have a network to rely on 😊. I'd also love to be pointed to any online groups, chats, or people who I could follow to stay up to date on the market.

Also, I'm open to investing in and around Central Florida.

Thanks for the read, I hope to connect soon!

Post: Thoughts on the Framingham, Massachusetts market

I've been looking into real estate for quite some time now. Now that I've graduated and am on the job hunt for software development jobs, I'm looking to get out of student loan debt and get into the RE market at least somewhere around my hometown of Framingham, MA. I've lived here all my life but since there are tons of experts here, you guys may have some insight into things that I don't. With that being said, Just wanted to inquire about some of the basics trends of the Framingham market, criteria folks look for, articles, blogs, REI groups dedicated to the Metrowest area, etc. Would you consider lease options for single-family houses? I've been looking into lease option rent to own deals and they seem like the way I would love to go in order to keep a good cash flow throughout the time in which I would hold a property. Would love to connect with investors, realtors, and anyone else experienced in this area.

Thanks!

Post: College kid looking to finance a duplex in the cheap area of Mass

I'm currently a college student looking to get into REI. My credit score is 729 and my financial partner's is a quite bit lower. Currently neither of us are in a position to get a personal loan for 50k since we got laughed out of a few banks (lol). We are currently looking for at least a duplex in a cheaper part of Massachusetts in order start with our first property. What are some methods and banks you guys would use in our situation in order to try and get the financing for a duplex.
