What Real Estate Jobs allowed you to quit your 9 - 5

Hello all,

I'm currently a tad bit over 100k working as a software developer.

I can't really see myself doing this for a long time so I just wanted to reach out and ask about the best way to go about using real estate and investments to eventually transition out of software development.
Ideally, I'd love to have a real estate investing company in which I can acquire properties and focus solely on investing and flipping, but I'm not too sure how feasible and maintainable this would be (I could just be ignorant to the profits, I will admit) ?

Are there investors here who have quit there full time jobs and used real estate investing as their primary income?

Wholesaling and being a real estate agent are probably two of the jobs I'd stear clear of.

However, Lending, flipping, rehabbing, and a few other professions are things I could see myself being excited and fufilled about.

I would love to get everyone's take on this aswell as understand hear everyone else's experience going into real estate full time!
