@Jacob Emmert

Hey there, I saw that you’re getting started in Madison/Huntsville, and I wanted to welcome you to the area! My wife and I are Realtors with Keller Williams Madison, so I’d be more than willing to help in any way I can. I’m also looking to get into investing, but I’m just trying to learn a lot first. Let me know if you need any help with anything!

@Jayboy Sulaiman

Hey there! Glad to see you’re considering the Huntsville, AL area! The RE market is HOT right now due to the increased demand from all the incoming industry.

My wife and I are new Realtors here after moving back from me being in the Army for the past four years. We’re originally from this area, and I’d be more than happy to help with your market research!

Hey there, my wife and I are originally from Athens, and we just moved back into the area after me being in the Army for the past four years. We’re both Realtors with Keller Williams now, but I wanted to get into investing as well. It’s nice to see some like minded folks on here since our market area isn’t as big as some of the others. You guys are clearly more into the process for financial independence, etc. but I’d love to chat and get a plan to get started!

@Seth Wahle

Hey there, I’m just catching up on these threads, and I see you’re in the Huntsville area. I really want to get into investing, but I’m a Realtor as of now. Maybe we could chat to see how we could help each other in this market if you haven’t found someone already!

Good Evening All,

I saw this thread for Huntsville, AL Realtors, and I am a licensed Realtor here. Any investing or relocating needs or questions can come to me! My wife and I are originally from the Huntsville area, and we recently returned after my service in the Army.

I’ve been following BiggerPockets forums for about 2 years now, and I got my real estate license last September. My wife and I are both licensed, and we work with Keller Williams. Check us out at ferrisrealtyteam.com or Ferris Realty Team - Keller Williams Realty Madison!

@John Patton, thank you for that input. I heard about the new school in Alabaster, so I think I will definitely look there first. Thanks!

@Scott Starkey, I think I will start getting into buy and hold once I have a little more experience, just because I'm trying to cash out quickly in order to purchase the next deal. But once I do, I will definitely consider the North Jefferson County area. That's where we've seen some good areas as well. Thanks for the input!

@Melissa Nash, my wife and I are from North Alabama, so we're looking to move closer to home, but we also want to get started in REI with safe bets. We wanted to start by flipping because we don't want to hold properties waiting on appreciation. I definitely see the benefits of owning rentals, but I'm having a hard time committing to that strategy because of the number of rentals required to generate enough cash flow to be FI. I will definitely be needing a contractor sometime in the near future, but we are still working up the courage/funding for our first deal. Please, I am open to any and all general advice!

My wife and I are looking to flip houses between central and north Alabama (Birmingham to Huntsville and anywhere in between). Any input from local investors in those areas on what looks good right now? We've looked at the Birmingham outskirts near Alabaster, Pelham, Chelsea and some others. Then in Huntsville we have seen the potential on the east side near the mountain. Any thoughts or experience? Thank you in advance!
