@Marc Shin I think some minor adjustments to the façade could fix any "curb appeal issues". Personally, I think curb appeal is low on the list for MTR success. I think location, amenities, and layout are much more important factors.

@Damein White Positing in the classifieds section of BiggerPockets, looking at the events & meetups page of BiggerPockets, and checking out Meetup.com can be great ways to find and network with local investors

Yes, as Jaime mentioned reach out direct to companies like CRS and ALE Solutions and try and develop a relationship to have your property used for insurance placements.

@Shi Esguerra As Allen mentioned FF and Airbnb tend to be the best resource for pricing MTRs. Zillow can also be a good data point as well. Location, property condition and amenities can cause a wide range of rental rates for similar layouts (2 bed 2 bath for example). Good luck as you begin your investing journey!

Hi Marcelo, I would recommend going to local RE events if you can (Meetup.com is a great place to find them). That is often the easiest way to connect with investors in your area!

BiggerPockets also has a section for local RE events!

If you haven't yet I would suggest looking at Furnished Finder and Zillow in the areas that you are considering in Northern VA to get a general sense of the competition. Also, if you attend some local RE meetups in the area you may be able to find some local MTR operators.

I would recommend posting in the classified sections of BP. That can be a great place to find local connections. Also, try going to local RE meetups!
