@Justin Goodin Indianapolis continues to be one of the best kept secrets as far as mid major cities in the US! Raleigh/Durham research triangle is also a great place to invest in.

Continuing to be persistent and communicating, networking and building relationships is crucial to have success in real estate syndications and in life in general.

Cushman Wakefield puts out great content @Justin Goodin, but agree completely. Indianapolis is the place to invest

@Lukas James syndication is definitely a great way to be a passive income investor especially with a firm that invests in larger sized deals (150+ units). Syndication gives you an opportunity to invest in larger deals in cities that you may have not of had the opportunity to invest in on your own. Plus and added bonus, most or all syndicates have their own asset management firms and property staff on site.

Networking is crucial whether that is LinkedIn or in person in your community. Reading and listening to podcasts as well. Some good ones are Wheelbarrow Profits by Jake and Gino as well as Apartment building investing by Michael Blank.

@Evan Polaski good point, returns are important but I think it is also about building relationships with clients and making sure that you build that report with them so they feel more comfortable and confident in future deals whether that is with your syndicator or another firm in the near future. Important to have diversity in the portfolio

Definitely agree, @Luke Trovinger having clear concise communication is what clients want.

@Luke Trovinger

In your opinion, what do you think the most important thing clients look for when looking at the syndication route when investing in multifamily?

@Amanda Davi any midmarket city in the midwest (ie Indianapolis, IN, Milwaukee, WI, Cleveland, OH, Cincinnati, OH) would be great places to invest if you find the right syndicator. Indianapolis, IN is a very rent friendly town that has had a steady growth across the board.
