I see a lot of people talking about buying and holding condos and all the issues with it but I don't believe I have seen anything about flipping a condo? I have recently found one in foreclosure and all other units of same size have sold for significantly high compared to the lowest bid. Seems worthwhile...

Alright sounds good. Definitely post on your transaction @Kevin D.. Thanks for your input @Jay Hinrichs.  Theres a lot of properties around my area in Orlando, FL that seem like they would be decent deals for turnover.

Thanks Daniel. I appreciate your response. I have never been involved in a club. Is there anything I should know before I get involved?

I totally agree with you. Its kinda a scary thought using my money at all. I guess I need to do a lot more research before I make the jump to real estate investing.

Thank you guys. I forgot to mention I do have a nice sized nest egg to potentially buy a property with cash or at least close to it. My girlfriend and I also will be working so I was hoping the investment would just be paying me and whatever maintenance costs while I would be just living my life like normal with a little more income. I just hope that all makes sense.

I am moving to Orlando, Fl from upstate New York in two weeks and would like to get into the market and try to find my first investment property when I get down there. I will be living in an apartment myself and I just wanted to get your opinions on whether it is still a good idea to go buy an investment property while still living in an apartment? Why or why not? Thanks!
