@Rick H. - Any probate courses you recommend?  I've been looking far and wide, but am struggling to find one that anyone recommends.

Hey guys!

I am a very active investor (flips, rentals, direct mail, etc...), but am interested in really digging into probate.  I have a few leads, but am curious to get your opinions on what you feel are the best sources/programs to learn probate methods.

Any suggestions?  Thx!

There has been much discussion both here on BP and in our local REIA's about Code Enforcement (i.e., neighborhood code) in Allen County, Fort Wayne. Well, to help facilitate these discussions, a few members from our local Code Enforcement department has agreed to present and host sooner Q&A at an upcoming event on Feb 7th, the details of which can be seen here on BP in the EVENTS section. Please come prepared with your questions, or let us know here what we should plan to ask of them!

Not to bud in, but if you're looking for some support from us Indiana investors, here is a link to the REIA in Fort Wayne. Lots of great local info being discussed in our Facebook group, and of course, your always welcome to come to one of our meetings! Always free. Never a sales pitch. Just networking and learning.

Hey everyone!

I have scheduled the next meeting for our Fort Wayne Landlord's and Real Estate Investor's!

This month, we have a member of the team from Fort Wayne "Neighborhood Code" coming to chat with us!  We have had SEVERAL discussions in recent months regarding issues around code enforcement, and I am thrilled to be able to talk to some directly from "the source!"  Please come with questions in hand!  Of course, we will also schedule plenty of time for networking and other discussion.  Hope to see you there!

More details here: https://www.facebook.com/events/340873563095734/?ti=cl

Many of you have already found it, but in case you are unaware, we have started a Facebook group that is very specifically for local Investors in and around Fort Wayne. We have already seen some GREAT discussions happening, and it has been a great resource in just the few weeks it has been up and running. Local contractors, suggestions for paint vendors, how to get rid of smells, etc...) It will also serve as a source of info for local meet-ups (coming very soon!)

Feel free to jump in and follow along with us here:

IMPORTANT NOTE: If you request to join, you MUST answer the 3 questions presented to you - this is how we weed out those who are clearly not investors.

Hey @Tyler!  I can give you a couple ideas of who to go to but truth be told I can do you one better.....

Here's a link to our Fort Wayne investor group and we recently had a fantastic discussion on our favorite and most cost-effective title companies. If you jump into that group, and search for title company, it should take you to the thread where we talked about all sorts of different title companies and why we prefer the various ones. Here is the link...
